What We Do When the Curtain Comes Down

Mitsuki is a celebrated idol who has built his career on a closely guarded secret: he is an omega thriving in a fiercely competitive entertainment industry dominated by alphas. Through sheer determination, he has clawed his way to the very top of his agency's roster. However, his position is constantly tested by Mahiro, the agency’s second most popular star. Mahiro embodies every sharp, commanding trait associated with an alpha, and Mitsuki harbors a deep dislike for him. When an unexpected emergency threatens to derail a live performance, Mitsuki is forced to share the stage with his rival. The situation takes a dangerous turn when Mitsuki’s suppressant medication abruptly fails mid-show, plunging him into heat before a massive audience. Acting swiftly, Mahiro steps in to cover for him, managing the crisis so seamlessly that the crowd remains entirely oblivious to what has just transpired. Yet, while Mahiro successfully protects Mitsuki's carefully constructed facade, the encounter leaves a lasting mark. In the aftermath of the performance, Mitsuki finds himself overwhelmed by intense desires and unfamiliar passions he has never experienced before, forever altering how he views the alpha who saved him.
