Hana-chan and the Shape of the World

Set in a quiet, unassuming town where the extraordinary seamlessly intertwines with the ordinary, young Hana navigates her daily life with boundless curiosity. For her, every passing moment is an opportunity for exploration and discovery. As she moves through this gentle landscape, she encounters a mosaic of experiences—some filled with warmth and sweetness, others tinged with subtle bitterness. Through these small yet profound interactions, the true shape of the world gradually reveals itself to her, transforming everyday routines into meaningful revelations about life and connection. This beautifully contemplative manga unfolds as a collection of interconnected stories that capture the quiet magic of childhood perception. Each narrative offers a unique window into Hana’s surroundings, exploring themes of growth, empathy, and the delicate balance between fantasy and reality. The volume comprises six distinct tales: Arashi no Katachi, Hana-chan no Kusasoudou, Takkyuu Therapy, Uta-chan no Shukudai, Ohisama no Ballad, and Sekai no Katachi. Together, they weave a tender portrait of a young girl learning to understand the vast, complex world around her, one heartfelt experience at a time.
