No Longer Allowed In Another World

For most enthusiasts, being transported to a fantasy realm with video game mechanics and charming companions would be the ultimate wish fulfillment. However, for the melancholic author Osamu Dazai, this scenario is nothing short of a nightmare. Thrust into another world in 1948, decades before such digital concepts even existed, he finds himself burdened with supernatural abilities that actively thwart his singular desire: to find a peaceful place to end his own life. Rather than embracing the fantastical adventure unfolding around him, Dazai views every magical encounter and heroic obligation as an irritating obstacle to his poetic pursuit of death. Despite his relentless efforts to court danger and achieve his grim objective, fate conspires to keep him safe, turning every potential tragedy into an accidental triumph. The narrative follows this uniquely miserable protagonist as he navigates a vibrant fantasy landscape while remaining utterly devoted to his morbid aspirations. This series offers a distinctively dark yet comedic twist on the genre, presenting a cheerfully bleak tale where the hero’s greatest enemy is not a demon lord, but his own persistent survival in a world he desperately wishes to leave behind.
