Kumagurashi

Kumada is a cautious office worker who has built his entire existence around the principle of avoiding risk at all costs. Guided by personal mottos such as "better safe than sorry" and the firm belief that a wise man never courts danger, he meticulously plans for every possible contingency to ensure a worry-free life. His carefully controlled routine allows him to comfortably enjoy a peaceful bachelor lifestyle, far removed from any unpredictable situations or threats. However, his perfectly secure world is abruptly upended when a bear suddenly appears inside his home. This unexpected intrusion shatters the very safety he has spent his life cultivating, forcing him to confront an impossible situation within his own living space. Yet, this is no ordinary wild animal. The mysterious bear defies all logic by casually taking on household chores, transforming Kumada's quiet, risk-free daily routine into something entirely unforeseen. As the ultimate embodiment of unpredictability settles in to do the housework, the perpetually prepared office worker must navigate a bizarre new reality that none of his careful planning could have ever anticipated.
