Pompo: The Cinéphile

In the bustling cinematic hub of Nyallywood, Gene Fini works as a production assistant while harboring a deep devotion to film. He has spent his time contributing to lighthearted popcorn movies under the guidance of Joelle Davidovich Pomponette—better known as "Pompo"—a youthful and sharp-minded movie producer. Despite their focus on commercial entertainment, Gene’s life takes an unexpected turn when he stumbles upon a screenplay penned by Pompo herself. Captivated by its brilliance, he insists that the script is far too exceptional to remain unproduced and deserves to be brought to the screen. Taking him at his word, Pompo issues a bold challenge: if Gene believes in the project so strongly, he should direct it himself. Thrust into the role of a first-time feature film director, Gene quickly discovers that his lifelong passion for cinema is about to be tested like never before. The grueling hours are relentless, and the obstacles standing between him and a finished film seem insurmountable. Yet, driven by an unwavering love for the art of filmmaking, Gene must navigate the exhausting gauntlet of production to transform Pompo's extraordinary vision into reality.
