Maki Honjo leads a demanding professional life as a scenario writer for a video game company, spending her days crafting narratives for others. However, her own story takes an unexpected turn one night during her routine commute home from work. While traveling back after a long shift, she narrowly avoids a serious accident when she nearly runs over a young girl in the road. This sudden, startling encounter disrupts the quiet monotony of Maki's evening and pulls her into a brief but deeply intriguing interaction with the mysterious stranger. Before the strange night concludes, the enigmatic girl leaves Maki with a parting gesture that is both simple and cryptic: she writes a specific time and location directly onto Maki's hand. Left alone to decipher the meaning behind these hastily scrawled details, Maki eventually discovers that the information points to a live music venue. The coordinates lead directly to an upcoming concert performed by a band known as Liberty. What begins as a near-tragedy on a dark street quickly transforms into an unforeseen invitation, setting the stage for Maki to step away from her structured daily life and explore a new, unfamiliar experience sparked by a fleeting midnight encounter.
