Yet, his eternity is not filled with grand gothic adventures or dark conquests, but rather with an endlessly repeating purgatory of teenage banality. For over a century, poor Koide has found himself trapped in the exact same academic loop: identical homework assignments, monotonous lectures, and meaningless exams, all compounded by an eternal, unquenchable thirst for blood. Having relived his sophomore year of high school one hundred and thirty-three times, Koide approaches his one hundred and thirty-fourth year with total apathy. He expects nothing to change, and quite frankly, he is far too exhausted and bored to care anymore. However, this year's classroom dynamic shatters his monotonous expectations. To his utter bewilderment, his new classmates are not afraid of him; instead, they are utterly thrilled to harbor a real-life vampire in their midst and are eagerly determined to assist him in any way possible. As an eccentric crew of enthusiastic students inserts themselves into his immortal routine, Koide faces an unexpected shift in his stagnant existence.
