Tales of the Tendo Family

Masato, a son of the prestigious Tendo family, is destined to enter into an arranged marriage with Hojo Ran, the daughter of a baron. However, this carefully orchestrated union harbors a dangerous secret: the woman standing before him is not the true bride. The real Ran, terrified by grim rumors that few who enter the Tendo household ever leave it alive, has fled entirely, abandoning her obligations and her future to escape a potentially fatal fate. In her place stands an impostor, a mysterious young woman who has willingly assumed the identity of the missing noblewoman. Despite knowing the perilous reputation of the family she is about to join, she shows no fear for her own survival. Instead, she makes a startling declaration to Masato, stating that she would gladly sacrifice her own life if it meant saving someone else's. Bound together by deception and looming danger, Masato must now navigate the treacherous secrets of his family alongside a substitute bride whose selfless resolve may be the only thing keeping them alive.
