Shiina Momose is a pragmatic girl who dismisses fortune-telling and the occult as pure nonsense. Yet, despite her skepticism, she harbors an inexplicable ability: anything she touches is instantly destroyed. She navigates her daily life trying to manage this dangerous anomaly until an unexpected encounter disrupts her routine. While walking to school one morning, a mysterious young man approaches her and boldly declares himself to be a god. This self-proclaimed deity explains that he was guided directly to her by fate. Convinced of their destined connection, he insists that Momose must become his very first follower. Unsurprisingly, she flatly rejects his absurd demand, wanting nothing to do with divine proclamations or supernatural entanglements. However, her refusal proves difficult to maintain when bizarre and unsettling events begin unfolding around her. Faced with escalating anomalies she can no longer ignore, Momose realizes she has no choice but to take action and confront the strange new reality forcing its way into her life.
