Haigakura

Nozomu aspires to become a writer, though she currently struggles to find the perfect story to tell. Her ordinary life takes an unexpected turn while walking home from school when a chance collision with a group of aggressive young men leads to trouble. She is rescued by a mysterious stranger named Ichiyou, who reveals he is on a quest to locate missing Gods. After Nozomu sends him on his way, another figure named Tenkou approaches her, searching for his master. Recognizing the connection between them, Nozomu reunites the two men—along with their volatile, abusive dynamic—and inadvertently gains a glimpse into a hidden realm beyond her own. Through this encounter, Nozomu discovers that Ichiyou and Tenkou are embarking on a perilous journey to track down the Gods. The world they inhabit was once sustained by four malevolent deities, but it has since plunged into crisis after these entities escaped their confinement. Now, the burden of restoring balance falls upon the kashikans, specialized individuals who must use the ancient arts of song and dance to draw the fugitive Gods back and save their crumbling reality.
