Canis: Dear Mr. Rain

Business is struggling at Dante, a men’s haberdashery facing a critical upcoming sale with a severe shortage of staff. Overwhelmed by the mounting pressure and left emotionally battered after a harsh reprimand from his own employees, Satoru returns home in a state of exhaustion. His difficult day takes an unexpected turn when he discovers a young stranger sleeping out in the rain. The young man, Ryou, is far from ordinary. Despite being only nineteen years old, he possesses a striking appearance, natural charisma, and the enigmatic aura of someone burdened by a complicated past. After Satoru offers him a warm meal, a shower, and a place to rest, Ryou agrees to step in as a model for the shop. However, their arrangement comes with a strict limitation: the agreement is valid for only a single day. Once the work is done, Ryou must leave immediately, bound by a pressing and dangerous obligation—a scheduled meeting with the mafia that he cannot afford to miss.
