Kuzu to Megane to Bungaku Shoujo

"Murakami Haruki? I know him—though his real name is actually Kadokawa Haruki." With this brazen display of feigned literary knowledge, an unlikely romantic entanglement begins to unfold. The story centers on two vastly different young men: a shameless playboy who treats relationships as casual games, and a quiet, bespectacled bookworm who genuinely lives for literature. Despite their contrasting personalities and lifestyles, both find themselves captivated by the same girl, drawn in by her carefully cultivated image as a refined lover of classic novels. However, the object of their shared affection harbors a secret that undermines her sophisticated facade. Beneath the poised exterior of a cultured "literary girl," she possesses absolutely no depth or substance beyond her striking physical appearance. Her supposed passion for books is nothing more than a shallow act designed to attract attention, leaving her with beauty as her sole redeeming quality. As these three individuals become intertwined, their dynamic evolves into a complex love triangle built on deception and misplaced admiration. The scumbag and the scholar must navigate their unexpected rivalry while remaining entirely oblivious to the hollow reality of the girl they are both pursuing. Ultimately, this narrative explores the comedic and dramatic irony of two opposites falling for a beautifully crafted illusion rather than a genuine person.
