Eien ni Shoujo

Mizuki is a ghost who finds herself drawn back to the house she once called home, only to discover that it now belongs to an unfamiliar family. Wandering through the halls of her former life, she exists entirely unseen and unheard by the new residents who have taken over her space. To them, she is nothing more than empty air, leaving Mizuki isolated in a place that was once deeply familiar yet now feels completely foreign. Her solitary existence shifts when she encounters a young child named Misao. Unlike the rest of the household, Misao possesses the unique ability to see and interact with the lingering spirit. This unexpected connection bridges the gap between the living and the dead, offering Mizuki a rare anchor to the world she has left behind. What follows is a poignant exploration of their bond as the years pass. As Misao grows from childhood into adulthood, their relationship evolves alongside her, shaped by the passage of time and the quiet constancy of Mizuki's presence. Together, they navigate the complexities of a connection that defies the boundaries of life and death.
