Kabe no Naka no Tenshi

Lorenz Dinkel is a professional artist who accepts a commission to paint a mural on the wall of a local store. What begins as an ordinary artistic assignment soon takes an extraordinary turn, as Lorenz remains completely unaware that his creations possess a secret life of their own. When night falls and the world grows quiet, the two angels he painted—Julius and Marion—step out from the wall and come alive. Freed from their static existence, Julius and Marion spend their nights eagerly exploring the wonders and complexities of the human world. For the two celestial beings, these midnight excursions offer a thrilling escape into a realm they could previously only observe from the plaster surface. They revel in the sights and experiences that humanity has to offer, treating each evening as a new adventure beyond the confines of their painted home. However, the delicate boundary between art and reality begins to blur when Julius unexpectedly crosses paths with Lorenz himself. This chance encounter sets the stage for a profound shift in their hidden lives, forcing both the creator and his living creation to navigate the startling consequences of a world where imagination breathes and walks among men.
