For her entire life, Alisa has lived in complete isolation on a remote island, far removed from the world of wealth and privilege. She is the illegitimate daughter of an elderly, affluent man who remained entirely absent from her life for the past decade. Upon his death, his final will sets off a chain of bitter disputes: he bequeaths ten percent of his vast fortune to Alisa, donates eighty-five percent to charity, and divides the remaining five percent among his three ex-wives and their children. Naturally, the families are outraged by this arrangement. They view it as a profound insult that a daughter the millionaire barely acknowledged would receive such a significant share of his estate. Driven by greed and resentment, the ex-wives and their children refuse to accept the terms of the will quietly. When Alisa leaves her secluded island home for the very first time to claim her inheritance, she steps directly into a den of hostility. Unprepared for the complexities of high society and the deep-seated animosity of her father's former families, she quickly realizes she is surrounded by enemies. United by their shared fury, these relatives begin plotting relentlessly, determined to seize Alisa’s fortune by any means necessary.
