Harukana Receive

When high school student Haruka relocates to the coastal paradise of Okinawa, she is immediately captivated by the pristine beach stretching just beyond her front door. Inspired by the sun-drenched shoreline and the vibrant local culture, she sets her sights on a new athletic ambition: forming a competitive beach volleyball team. To achieve this dream, she turns to the one person she trusts most—her cousin, Kanata—hoping they can partner up and dominate the sand together. However, Haruka’s enthusiasm quickly meets a formidable obstacle. Despite her natural connection to the sport, Kanata abandoned volleyball long ago. Her decision to quit was driven by deep-seated insecurities regarding her height, leaving her convinced that she lacks the physical stature required to compete effectively. This lingering self-doubt has kept her far from the court for years, creating a stark contrast to Haruka’s boundless energy and optimism. With a junior tournament rapidly approaching, time becomes a critical factor. Haruka must now find a way to break through her cousin’s emotional barriers and reignite a passion for the game that has long been extinguished. The story centers on whether Haruka’s unwavering determination can convince Kanata to overcome her past frustrations and step back onto the sand before their window of opportunity closes entirely.
