Mythical Beast Investigator

In a world where mythical creatures possess supernatural abilities and maintain their own distinct ecosystems outside the natural food chain, humanity coexists alongside these enigmatic beings. To manage this delicate relationship, specialized professionals known as Genjuu Chousain, or Mythical Beast Investigators, are tasked with researching the complex interactions between humans and these extraordinary entities. These investigators serve as vital intermediaries, studying the behaviors and habitats of creatures that defy conventional biological classification while ensuring peaceful cohabitation between two fundamentally different forms of life. The narrative follows Ferry, a dedicated Mythical Beast Investigator whose expertise lies in understanding the intricate bonds between humans and mythical beasts. Her journey begins when a wyvern, a fearsome flying reptilian dragon, launches a devastating attack on a rural village, threatening the fragile balance between species. Dispatched to investigate this aggressive incident, Ferry embarks on a comprehensive research mission to uncover the reasons behind the wyvern’s hostility. Through her fieldwork, she delves deeper into the mysteries surrounding these supernatural creatures, seeking to protect both human communities and the mythical beings that share their world.
