Hungry Heart

For as long as he can remember, Kyosuke Kano has lived in the overwhelming shadow of his older brother, Seisuke, a highly successful professional soccer player. Constantly compared to his sibling and dismissed by those around him, Kyosuke eventually grew exhausted by the relentless scrutiny. Seeking an escape from the pressure, he made the difficult decision to abandon the sport entirely, leaving his passion for soccer behind. However, his resolve is tested when he transfers to a new high school. A fellow student unexpectedly discovers his natural talent and earnestly urges him to join the school’s soccer team. Reluctant at first but ultimately swayed, Kyosuke steps back onto the pitch, reigniting a spark he thought he had extinguished. Upon joining the team, he quickly forms a strong bond with two other first-year players, Rodrigo and Sakai. Together, the trio pushes one another to improve, sharing a singular, ambitious goal. United by their dedication and newfound camaraderie, they strive to overcome their individual challenges and pursue the ultimate dream of becoming professional soccer players themselves.
