Houkago, Famiresu de, Class no Ano Ko to.

Second-year high school student Narumi Kouta struggles to adapt after his mother’s remarriage brings a talented stepsister into his home. Seeking refuge from domestic tension, he takes a part-time job and spends his evenings at a family restaurant until closing time. There, he repeatedly encounters Kazemiya Kohaku, a celebrated classmate known for her striking beauty and aloof demeanor that rivals her famous idol sister. Though both are regulars who silently acknowledge each other’s presence, they maintain a respectful distance without ever interacting, finding parallel solace in the late-night establishment. Their unspoken routine shifts when a crowded evening forces Kouta to share Kohaku’s table. After he receives a difficult phone call from home, she unexpectedly breaks the silence by asking if he is also struggling with his family life. This moment of vulnerability transforms their relationship from mere coexistence into a shared sanctuary, as Kohaku reveals that they are alike in more ways than one. What begins as simply killing time together gradually deepens into mutual attraction, with two isolated souls finding unexpected comfort and connection in the quiet hours of a family restaurant.
