Fullmetal Alchemist

The once-prosperous mining town of Xenotime has fallen into ruin. Long celebrated for its master goldsmiths, the settlement is now a desolate place surrounded by endless sand, its mines depleted and its farmland dead. The desperate townspeople have pinned their last hopes on the arrival of the gifted State Alchemist Edward Elric and his brother, Alphonse. However, when the genuine Fullmetal Alchemist and his sibling travel to Xenotime in search of the legendary Philosopher's Stone, they uncover a startling deception: two impostors have already claimed their identities and are exploiting their hard-earned reputation. This dangerous case of mistaken identity plunges the true Elric brothers into an unexpected conflict. They must expose the frauds and restore order before the escalating clash between the real and fake brothers destroys Xenotime’s fragile chance at survival. The novel also includes a bonus tale titled "The Phantom of Warehouse 13." Portions of this light novel were adapted into the 2003 anime series, with the main story featured in episodes eleven and twelve, and the bonus narrative presented in episode thirty-seven.
