Ao wo Sagasu Bokura

In a fractured world where avian beings and humans exist in deep-seated hostility, two unlikely souls find themselves drawn together. Shini is a bird girl navigating the dangers of a society divided by species, while Karma is a human boy living on the opposing side of an ancient conflict. Their chance encounter defies the rigid boundaries that have long kept their respective kinds at odds, sparking a connection neither could have anticipated. Despite belonging to factions locked in mutual enmity, Shini and Karma share a profound, unifying yearning for the open sky. This shared longing binds them together against the expectations of their divided world, forcing them to confront the prejudices and dangers surrounding their bond. As they navigate the perilous space between their warring peoples, they must determine whether their connection can survive the weight of societal hatred. The fate of these two individuals—united by their dreams yet separated by their very natures—hangs in the balance as they search for freedom in a world determined to keep them grounded.
