Shippaisaku no Tsukaima

For eighty years, a devoted mage dedicated his life to raising an abandoned familiar he had taken under his wing. Throughout their time together, he patiently endeavored to teach her not only the intricacies of magic but also the complexities of human emotion. Despite his unwavering guidance and decades of companionship, the inevitable passage of time finally claimed him, leaving his beloved familiar alone in a world she is still learning to understand. In the wake of her master's passing, the familiar finds herself at a profound crossroads, grappling with the deep sorrow of loss and the weight of the lessons she was taught. Rather than fading into obscurity, she chooses to honor his memory by stepping out into the wider world. She embarks on a deeply personal journey, traveling to the cherished locations that once brought them joy and constantly reminding her of the man who shaped her existence. Yet her pilgrimage is not solely one of remembrance. Driven by the compassion her master instilled within her, she dedicates her travels to seeking out other abandoned familiars who have been left behind by the mages they once served. By offering them the same warmth and guidance she received for eight decades, she transforms her grief into a quiet mission of hope, ensuring that no familiar has to face the world entirely alone.
