Hidan no Aria

Tokyo Butei High School is a specialized academy dedicated to training armed detectives, known as "Butei," who operate on the front lines of law enforcement. Among its sophomore class is Kinji Tohyama, a student harboring a closely guarded secret. His body possesses a unique physiological trait: when triggered by a specific stimulus, he enters an extraordinary "super mode" that drastically enhances his capabilities. Desiring nothing more than a quiet, uneventful life, Kinji goes to great lengths to conceal this ability from his peers and instructors alike. However, his aspirations for normalcy are abruptly shattered when he becomes the target of a sudden bombing incident. Thrust into a dangerous situation he intended to avoid, Kinji's carefully maintained facade begins to crack. In the chaotic aftermath of the attack, he crosses paths with Aria H. Kanzaki, an elite operative from the school's prestigious Assault department. This fateful encounter pulls Kinji out of the shadows and directly into a world of high-stakes action, forcing him to confront the very abilities he sought to hide while navigating an unexpected partnership with one of the academy's most formidable students.
