Cike Wu Liuqi

On the quiet shores of Chicken Island lives Wu Liuqi, a remarkably inept assassin struggling to make ends meet. Because his skills are unrefined and his reputation is nonexistent, he is forced to charge meager rates for his contracts while working part-time at a local hair salon just to survive. Armed only with a pair of barber scissors as his weapon of choice, he navigates the dangerous underworld on a shoestring budget, taking on whatever jobs come his way regardless of how absurd they might be. Due to his low prices, Wu Liuqi finds himself assigned an eccentric roster of targets rather than standard marks. His missions pit him against a bizarre variety of individuals, including Wang Feng, a rock singer with a deep love for dogs; a seemingly frail elderly fruit vendor who proves far more formidable than she appears; and Meihua Shisan, a deadly masked female assassin. Each contract forces him to push his limited abilities to their absolute limits as he desperately attempts to fulfill his obligations. Yet, as Wu Liuqi throws himself into these chaotic assignments, something unexpected begins to stir within him. The intense struggles trigger fragmented memories of a forgotten life, slowly unraveling the mystery of who he was before arriving on Chicken Island. With every completed mission, the pieces of his shattered past draw closer together, guiding him toward the startling revelation of his true identity.
