Rio, the current heir who has patiently awaited his destined bride, is devastated when she abruptly abandons their betrothal to elope with another man, shattering longstanding tradition and leaving the shrine’s future in jeopardy. In an unprecedented turn of events, Rio’s former fiancée’s younger brother, Nagi, voluntarily presents himself at the shrine as her substitute.
