Shattered by the sudden loss of his parents and sister, Yuuichi Tachibana is left to navigate life as the sole guardian of his seven-year-old nephew, Ayumu. Determined to give the boy a stable future and escape the painful memories that haunt them, Yuuichi relocates them both to a quiet coastal home overlooking the ocean. He hopes the tranquil seaside environment will offer the peace they desperately need to begin healing from their shared grief. In their new neighborhood, they become frequent patrons of a local delicatessen run by Ryou Kurebayashi. What begins as simple daily interactions gradually deepens into a meaningful connection, as Ryou and Yuuichi discover that they carry remarkably similar scars from tragic pasts.
