Kuubo Ibuki

Set in the year 20XX, the global geopolitical landscape is shifting at an unprecedented and volatile pace. For Japan, these rapid changes manifest as mounting strategic pressures on multiple fronts. The nation faces the growing military capabilities of its neighbors alongside a complex web of emerging maritime challenges, including deep-sea resource extraction, underwater transportation logistics, disaster relief operations, and the ongoing necessity of maintaining order across international waters. Tensions reach a critical threshold following a near-skirmish with China over the heavily contested Senkaku Islands. Recognizing the urgent need to bolster its island defense capabilities and secure its territorial integrity, Japan makes a decisive shift in its military posture. In response to the escalating threat, the government commissions the construction of a state-of-the-art aircraft carrier named Ibuki. Alongside this formidable vessel, Japan organizes an entirely new naval fleet, fundamentally altering its approach to national security. As the crew of the Ibuki prepares to navigate treacherous political and military waters, they must stand ready to defend their homeland against forces determined to challenge the fragile balance of power in the region.
