Watashi ga Motete Dousunda

Kae Serinuma is a second-year high school student with a secret: she is a devoted fujoshi who spends her days quietly fantasizing about romantic pairings between her male classmates, particularly Igarashi and Nanashima. Her quiet, imagination-fueled life is abruptly upended when her favorite anime character dies on screen. The shock sends her into a state of intense emotional distress, resulting in rapid and dramatic weight loss that completely transforms her physical appearance. Almost overnight, Serinuma becomes strikingly beautiful, catching the attention of the very boys she used to observe from afar. Suddenly, she finds herself pursued by Igarashi and Nanashima, along with her sharp-tongued junior Shinomiya and her gentle senior Mutsumi. Thrust into an unexpected spotlight, she must navigate this sudden influx of romantic interest while struggling to maintain her composure. The core of her dilemma lies in the stark contrast between her new reality and her deeply ingrained habits. Despite being surrounded by handsome suitors vying for her affection, Serinuma’s mind remains firmly rooted in her love for boys' love fiction. Rather than choosing a partner for herself, she instinctively views her admirers through the lens of a fujoshi, constantly imagining them paired together. Balancing genuine teenage romance with her relentless, shipping-obsessed mindset proves to be a chaotic and comedic challenge she is entirely unprepared to face.
