Koi ni mo Naranai.

"That's the first time I've seen someone cry so beautifully." Those are the thoughts that cross Tajima's mind when he witnesses Koga in tears. Captivated by the unexpected elegance of such a sorrowful expression, Tajima finds himself inexplicably drawn to the other boy. However, beneath this quiet moment of fascination lies a deeply unfortunate truth that Tajima is entirely unaware of. The source of Koga's grief is not some abstract heartbreak, but rather the tragic death of his beloved pet goldfish—a demise caused directly by Tajima's own cat, Buuta. Burdened by guilt once the devastating reality comes to light, Tajima is left scrambling for a way to properly apologize for his pet's fatal actions. He knows that a simple sorry will hardly suffice for the loss of a cherished companion, and he struggles to find the right approach to mend the situation. Yet, as he carefully navigates this delicate attempt at making amends, an unforeseen turn of events occurs. In the process of seeking forgiveness, Tajima accidentally stumbles upon a closely guarded secret belonging to Koga. This sudden discovery threatens to complicate their fragile dynamic, transforming what began as a guilty obligation into something far more intricate and unexpected.
