Boku wa Imasugu Zense no Kioku wo Sutetai.: Akogare no Inaka wa Jingai Makyou deshita

Sugiyama Sora is a reincarnated toddler whose body can no longer survive in the city due to a severe deficiency of magical elements. As a last resort, he is sent to live with his grandparents in the countryside, finally fulfilling his dream of a peaceful rural life. However, upon passing through a tunnel filled with excitement for his long-awaited slow lifestyle, he emerges into an uninhabitable world overrun by monstrous giant insects. The simple childhood joys he envisioned are twisted into nightmares: catching bugs now means facing beetles over a meter long, and a pleasant nature walk becomes a desperate hunt to eradicate dandelions that sprout directly from human flesh. Terrified and constantly looking over his shoulder, the tearful boy cries out for his grandparents to save him. Yet, despite his overwhelming cowardice, Sora somehow manages to capture the hearts of the village's mighty inhabitants and even attracts the attention of the god of rice paddies. Blending genuine peril with unexpected charm, this heartwarming fantasy follows a frightened child risking his life in a bizarre new world—a story so vivid it might just remind you of your own hometown.
