Tatsumaki

Tatsumaki follows a struggling novelist who has fallen into such a profound creative slump that he is seriously contemplating selling his very life and soul. His despair leads him to an encounter with a mysterious man, sparking a deep conversation about the nature of creative writing. Together, they explore how the constraints of reality and the weight of established conventions stifle artistic expression, leaving the protagonist paralyzed in his craft. This philosophical exchange sets off a bizarre chain of events that draws several disparate lives into an unexpected convergence. Among those pulled into this strange web are a test knitter laboring under grueling conditions, a frivolous man navigating the superficial world of online dating apps, and a woman burdened with the grim task of carrying a corpse. As their paths intertwine, Tatsumaki weaves a surreal narrative exploring the boundaries between art, reality, and human desperation.
