Hokenshitsu no Tsumuri-san

Katakura Tsumuri serves as the school nurse at a local high school, though ironically, she is the one who most frequently requires medical attention. Afflicted with a fragile constitution, Tsumuri routinely exhausts herself or faints while attempting to fulfill her daily duties. Her naturally absentminded and lethargic personality only compounds the issue; whenever she isn’t passed out in the infirmary bed, she has it cluttered with snacks and video games. Fortunately, she doesn’t manage her chaotic life entirely alone. Her younger brother, Kouta, attends the same high school and dedicates much of his free time to supporting his older sister, constantly bailing her out from the responsibilities she struggles to handle. Their childhood friend and next-door neighbor, Mika, also regularly drops by the infirmary to visit and help ease Kouta’s heavy burden. Together, this unlikely trio navigates the comedic challenges of keeping the school’s health office running despite its caretaker’s constant mishaps. This series is created by the author of Waratte! Sotomura-san and takes place within the very same school setting.
