Murakami Kaizoku no Musume

During the turbulent Sengoku period, an era defined by relentless warfare, the Murakami pirates commanded absolute authority over the waters of the Seto Inland Sea. Under the leadership of the formidable Takeyoshi Murakami, their naval supremacy became legendary. Yet it is his daughter, Kyo, who carries forward his indomitable will and ferocious bravery. Having dedicated her existence to the harsh realities of maritime combat, she has earned a fearsome reputation in her home village, where locals dismiss her as an unrefined and undesirable woman whom no man would ever consider taking as a bride. Despite the scorn of those around her, Kyo remains entirely devoted to her life on the waves. Her story gains momentum when she embarks on a voyage toward Naniwa just before a pivotal military confrontation looms on the horizon. This fateful journey forces the unlikely pirate princess directly into the center of a rapidly shifting political landscape. As the tides of war rise around her, Kyo must navigate treacherous waters and brutal conflicts, ultimately carving her own path through one of the most decisive moments in history.
