Raveled Tightrope Knot

Ten years ago, Natsuki walked away from Haruomi—not out of dislike or discomfort with men, but because he feared his own impure thoughts would corrupt Haruomi’s innocence. Now, at a former classmate’s wedding reception, the two are unexpectedly reunited. However, the gentle boy Natsuki remembers has transformed. Haruomi arrives with a striking new appearance and an unapologetically provocative demeanor, leaving Natsuki completely bewildered by the change. Complicating matters further, Natsuki discovers that his friend Kariya has grown intimately close to Haruomi during their years apart. Though Natsuki knows he surrendered any right to claim Haruomi long ago, a sharp pang of jealousy gnaws at him. The tension escalates when Kariya and Haruomi lead him to a private hideaway, where Haruomi reveals a hidden, uninhibited side of himself that shatters every assumption Natsuki ever held about him. For a decade, both men have quietly harbored feelings for one another beneath layers of misunderstanding and distance. As buried desires finally surface, this deeply awkward pair must confront the lingering weight of their past choices and determine whether they can at last resolve the agonizing push-and-pull that has defined their relationship.
