Sparrow's Hotel

Sparrow's Hotel is a comedic manga centered on Sayuri Satou, the newest front desk receptionist at an establishment proudly billing itself as "the closest hotel to Heaven." Despite her welcoming role at this modest business hotel, Sayuri possesses a highly unconventional set of traits: she is notable for her ample figure and, far more surprisingly, her elite proficiency in assassination. Rather than leaving these lethal talents behind, she actively employs them to maintain order, swiftly neutralizing any unruly guests who dare cause trouble on the premises. However, the true source of the series' humor lies in the stark contrast between Sayuri's deadly competence and her endearing social clumsiness. While she can effortlessly dispatch disruptive patrons with professional precision, she becomes entirely flustered whenever she attempts to converse with the hotel's male manager. In his presence, her formidable confidence evaporates, reducing the skilled operative to a nervous wreck who frequently stumbles over her words and bites her tongue. This ongoing dynamic—balancing covert takedowns of rowdy customers with awkward, fumbling interactions at the front desk—drives the lighthearted charm of the story.
