At Inaho Jr. High, the Boys Ping Pong Club is struggling to maintain its existence with only six members, the minimum required to keep their club. The club's dynamics are diverse, with Takeda serving as a likeable everyman, Kinoshita as a popular and attractive student, and the others being stereotyped as losers: Tanabe for being foreign, Tanaka for being small and perceived as perverse, and Maena and Izawa for their eccentric antics, which have drawn the ire of powerful enemies. Despite their differences, the team must work together to save their practice room and club status, learning to put aside their individual quirks and weaknesses to succeed.
