A mysterious young man concealed behind a mask journeys across the land alongside his unusual companion—a small dragon possessing the extraordinary ability to transform into a human boy. During their travels, they encounter an elderly man who graciously offers them shelter for the night. Under the quiet roof of their host's home, the masked traveler reveals the true purpose of his expedition: he is undertaking a solemn pilgrimage to seek an audience with the Dragon King. Deeply concerned by this revelation, the old man urgently attempts to warn the pair about the grave perils that lie ahead on such a treacherous path, but his pleas fall on deaf ears as the resolute wanderer refuses to abandon his quest. This narrative follows the enigmatic pilgrim whose very identity carries the weight of history. His name bears a striking resemblance to that of a legendary figure from antiquity, a renowned individual said to have been executed by the emperor solely because of his breathtaking beauty. Bound by this haunting legacy and driven by an unwavering purpose, the masked man and his shape-shifting draconic companion press forward into the unknown, navigating a world fraught with danger in pursuit of the Dragon King.
