Pontus: Geugya 2

Two weeks have passed since the catastrophic disaster that devastated the Global Science Base in Antarctica. Amid the ruins, the American national research icebreaker Pontus departs the frozen wasteland, carrying a small group of survivors desperate to escape the nightmare. Aboard the vessel are eight individuals who lived through the base's destruction: Donghwan Cha, Sayaka, Nozomi, Ri Meirin, Wang Gaochang, Lee Sang-hyun, Kim Kyung-han, and Jeong Se-in. However, they are not alone. The ship also transports Cheon Ki-wook, the sole survivor among those who were infected during the incident, making his presence a constant and terrifying reminder of what they barely escaped. As the icebreaker navigates away from Antarctic waters and charts its long course toward New York Harbor via the Pacific Ocean, the fragile sense of safety begins to crumble. Trapped together on the isolated vessel with an infected individual, the survivors soon realize that leaving the science base did not mean leaving the danger behind. Far from any hope of rescue, another terrible tragedy begins to unfold in the middle of their voyage, threatening to consume them all before they ever reach the shore.
