Ouroboros Record

Tullius Shernan Oubeniel, the second son of a noble Count’s family, is a man who has already died once. Reincarnated from modern-day Japan with no understanding of how or why it happened, he clings to the desperate hope that death might simply grant him another chance at life. Yet his terror of dying again eclipses all logic and reason. Driven by this overwhelming fear, he dedicates his existence to a single, consuming objective: avoiding death entirely. In a world where magic is real, Tullius discovers alchemy—a discipline rumored to hold the secrets of perpetual youth and immortality. He seizes upon it as his only salvation, plunging relentlessly into its deepest mysteries as though his very survival depends on it. For Tullius, it does. No sacrifice is too great in his pursuit of eternity. His delusional obsession ripples outward, irrevocably altering the lives of everyone in his path—from the slave maid who admired him since childhood to adventurers, common citizens, fellow aristocrats, entire nations, and even non-human beings. Lives are warped and torn apart in the wake of his ambition. Still, his footsteps never falter. Everything he does, every cost he pays, serves one singular purpose: reaching the forever he so desperately craves.
