Mrs. Seonnyeo

After spending her high school years as a feared delinquent, a former gangster girl makes a firm resolution upon graduation: it is time to leave her turbulent youth behind and live a proper life. Her ultimate goal is simple yet profound—to marry a kind, respectable man and settle into the quiet normalcy she never experienced as a teenager. She envisions a peaceful domestic existence far removed from street fights and underworld notoriety, hoping that her new chapter will finally bury her violent history for good. However, escaping one's past is rarely so simple. The deeply ingrained instincts of her former life constantly threaten to resurface at the most inconvenient moments. Whether provoked by minor slights or unexpected confrontations, she struggles daily to suppress the fierce temper and combative reflexes that once defined her. Maintaining the facade of an ordinary wife requires relentless effort, and every passing day tests the limits of her self-control as her old habits claw their way back to the surface. The true challenge to her carefully constructed new life arrives with the birth of her daughter. As the child grows, it quickly becomes apparent that genetics and environment are formidable forces. Despite her mother’s desperate attempts to cultivate a gentle, refined household, the little girl begins exhibiting traits all too familiar to the reformed delinquent. Ultimately, the apple does not fall far from the tree, forcing the protagonist to face the inescapable echoes of her own legacy.
