Mondlicht: Tsuki no Tsubasa

Mondlicht: Tsuki no Tsubasa is a Manga originally published in Shonen Sunday. In the world of Mondlicht, vampires known as the Mondlicht are cursed to exist in perpetual twilight, forced to sustain themselves by feeding on human blood. Despite their monstrous nature, they are essentially vulnerable children, struggling to survive without resorting to violence or being hunted into extinction. Their fragile existence becomes increasingly precarious with the emergence of F08, an artificial human created by Dr. Frankenstein. Designed to eradicate the Mondlicht, F08 sets out to hunt them down, plunging the fragile balance of their world into chaos. The situation takes a shocking turn when F08's first confrontation ends with the unexpected betrayal of the girl she refers to as her "big sister." This turn of events raises questions about the artificial human's true intentions and the motivations behind her actions. Furthermore, the revelation that she possesses wings, a trait reminiscent of the vampires she was created to destroy, only adds to the mystery surrounding her character. As the conflict escalates, the fate of the Mondlicht hangs in the balance, leaving the question of whether they can ever find peace unresolved.
