Millennium Actress

Chiyoko Fujiwara, a popular female star in Japan, suddenly disappeared from the screen when she was popular thirty years ago. Thirty years later, Chiyoko's fans went through a lot of hard work and finally found her in a sparsely populated quiet mountain villa, where she had been living in seclusion for decades, and presented her with a mysterious key that Chiyoko had accidentally lost. The mysterious key seems to open the door of memory, leading Chiyoko to row into the sea of memories, and unearth a love story that she has never known. The story is like a river overflowing from Chiyoko's glorious years, flowing all the way to the ocean formed by her countless movies and images; it is also like running from the distant Warring States Period, and then rushing into the boundless future of time and space. Fans who listened in rapt attention experienced her pitiful joys and sorrows as Chiyoko swayed in the trough of memory; in the turbulent waves of time and space, they were suddenly aware of the deep love that spanned thousands of years. The mysterious key opened the memory that had been blocked and hidden by Chiyoko, and unlocked her important secrets. It is in the ruthless torrent of time, when memory and love meet most brilliantly, that the most real and eternal generation of superstar Chiyoko emerges.
