O Maidens in Your Savage Season

Upon entering high school, Kazusa joins her school's Literature Club, expecting to transition from innocent fiction to esteemed literary classics. However, she quickly discovers that these celebrated novels contain far more mature themes than she ever anticipated. Through cryptic metaphors involving nature and food, as well as the sudden realization of a deep crush on the boy next door, Kazusa is forced to confront her own awakening desires. Navigating this unfamiliar territory proves to be an overwhelming challenge, adding a deeply personal layer of confusion to the already difficult experience of adolescence. The situation grows even more complicated due to the distinct personalities within the club. Alongside Kazusa, the group consists of a brooding aspiring writer, the most beautiful girl in school, an endlessly agreeable companion, and a fiercely outspoken traditionalist. As each member wrestles with her own private insecurities and unspoken curiosities, their carefully maintained dynamic begins to fracture. A single, candid conversation about three taboo letters—S, E, and X—sends the five teenagers spiraling into absolute chaos, transforming their quiet literary haven into a battleground for self-discovery, embarrassment, and the turbulent realities of growing up.
