Ama-gami

In the city of Yaoyorozu, a unique legend surrounds every school rooftop. It is said that divine entities known as Amagami reside in these elevated spaces, appearing only to grant the heartfelt wishes of those who revere them. These mystical beings watch over the students below, waiting for a sincere desire strong enough to draw them out from their hidden domain. Kagura arrives in Yaoyorozu as a new transfer student at Yatsuka High School. Having moved from place to place since early childhood, he has never stayed long enough to form lasting bonds. This constant upheaval has left him emotionally guarded and isolated from his peers. Despite his outward detachment, he harbors a quiet, lingering wish deep within his heart: the simple desire to finally make real friends. Moved by this unspoken longing, the Amagami of Yatsuka High School chooses to reveal herself. A divine being named Amane emerges on the school's rooftop, answering Kagura's silent plea. Her sudden appearance marks the beginning of an extraordinary connection between a lonely student and a mysterious deity, setting the stage for a story where sacred promises and human vulnerability intertwine.
