Aido

Created by the artist behind Pure Shadow and Dessin, Aido is a compelling josei manga that explores the complexities of desire and hesitation. Three months have passed since Ureha’s boyfriend proposed to her, yet she remains unable to give him an answer. Caught in this emotional limbo, she struggles to reconcile her feelings about their future together. During an ordinary visit to a cosmetics shop, Ureha unexpectedly crosses paths with a woman named Sawori. This chance encounter triggers a vivid memory from her high school years—a past lesbian experience she had long kept buried. The sudden recollection leaves Ureha deeply unsettled, forcing her to question whether revisiting those feelings is something she truly wants or needs. Although she is uncertain about repeating the past, Ureha soon finds herself caught in a new dilemma. As Sawori begins to make her intentions known, Ureha must confront the boundaries of her own heart. Torn between the man waiting for her response and the magnetic pull of Sawori’s advances, she faces a difficult choice about where her true desires lie.
