Sakae Sugiura has long harbored a deep ambition to become an educator, and his dedication finally pays off when he is assigned to teach at an elementary school. However, his first days in this new role take an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Ryuuji Fukada, the very teacher who once guided him as a student within those same halls. During his youth, Sakae idolized Fukada, viewing the older man as an unwavering pillar of emotional support during difficult times. This sudden reunion catches Sakae entirely off guard, especially as he begins to notice how much Fukada has changed since their last encounter. The man he once revered now seems like a stranger, leaving Sakae feeling deeply hesitant and uncertain about how to navigate their renewed connection. He struggles to reconcile the steadfast mentor of his memories with the person standing before him now.
