Alexandros

Alexandros is a meticulously researched historical manga that chronicles the extraordinary life of Alexander the Great through the unique vantage point of his personal historian. Rather than presenting a conventional tale of military conquest, the narrative filters the legendary king’s journey through the careful observations and records of the scholar tasked with documenting his legacy. This distinctive perspective lends an intimate, grounded authenticity to one of history's most monumental figures, transforming familiar historical events into a deeply personal account. While the epic campaign against the Persian Empire forms the backdrop of the era, the story deliberately shifts its focus away from the battlefield. Instead, it places profound emphasis on Alexander’s insatiable intellectual curiosity and his driving ambition to comprehend the world around him. The manga portrays him not merely as a conqueror seeking territorial expansion, but as a visionary propelled by an unyielding desire for knowledge and discovery. Through the eyes of his chronicler, readers witness the internal motivations that defined his reign, exploring how his relentless quest to understand distant lands and cultures shaped his destiny far more than any war ever could.
