Maru no Yonkoma

Hanamaru Kunikida is a dedicated first-year student attending Uranohoshi Girl's Academy, where she proudly serves as a member of the beloved school idol group Aqours. Known for her earnest personality and deep commitment to her friends, she suddenly finds herself facing an unexpected challenge that falls entirely outside her usual routine. Tasked with a highly important mission, Hanamaru must now step into the role of a manga creator to help elevate her group's public profile. The objective is both clear and daunting: she must write and illustrate a four-panel manga specifically designed to promote Aqours and attract new fans to their performances. For a young student whose expertise lies in singing and dancing rather than storytelling and drawing, this creative endeavor presents a unique dilemma. She must navigate the unfamiliar world of manga production while balancing her regular academic responsibilities and rigorous idol rehearsals. Determined not to let her fellow members down, Hanamaru throws herself into the project with characteristic enthusiasm. Her journey to bring the vibrant spirit of Aqours to the printed page becomes a heartfelt exploration of creativity, teamwork, and the lengths one will go to support the people and passions she holds dear.
