Mood Indigo

Rio Kijima has reached the nadir of his existence, trapped in a cycle of financial ruin and emotional stagnation. His fortunes shift unexpectedly during a funeral where he reunites with Shiro Kido, a former classmate who has recently been abandoned by his girlfriend. Despite their complicated shared history, the two men recognize an opportunity for mutual salvation amidst their respective crises. Kijima extends an offer of shelter to the volatile Kido, while Kido, in turn, provides Kijima with a renewed sense of direction and purpose that has long been absent from his life. As they navigate this unconventional living arrangement, Kido gently encourages Kijima to accept a dramatic career transition that challenges his self-perception.
