Versailles no Bara: Episode-hen

Arriving four decades after the conclusion of its original serialization, Versailles no Bara: Episode-hen marks a monumental return to the beloved historical saga. This new installment breathes fresh life into the iconic narrative by offering readers an intimate look at the characters who defined the series, expanding upon a world that has captivated audiences for generations. Rather than simply retreading familiar ground, this collection introduces entirely new episodes that deepen the emotional and historical resonance of the overarching story. The narrative shifts its focus to a rich ensemble of fan-favorite characters, dedicating individual episodes to André, Gerodelle, Fersen, Alain, and many others whose lives intersected with the dramatic events of the French Revolution. Each chapter is meticulously crafted to explore two distinct timelines: the untold aftermath of the main story’s events and the deeply hidden pasts of these complex figures. Readers are finally granted access to secret histories and undisclosed backgrounds that were never revealed during the original run. By illuminating both what came before and what followed the central tragedy, Versailles no Bara: Episode-hen delivers a profoundly moving expansion of a timeless masterpiece, offering closure, context, and breathtaking new dimensions to characters whose legacies endure.
